Turkish Airlines to engage new Germany-Antalya flights

Turkish Airlines will start direct flights from 2 major German cities to the Mediterranean resort province of Antalya within the approaching months, the corporate aforesaid yesterday.

It is stated by the spokesperson that direct flights from Stuttgart and Berlin will begin on March 31 and Apr 3. The goal is to bring closer Antalya to Europe. The statement also added that these filghts will engage twice a week throughout the summer.

Turkish Airlines carried around 75.2 million passengers last year, up 10% year-on-year, although the target was to carry to 74 million passengers in 2018.

The company has declared that their goal is to carry 80 million passengers in 2019, together with 47 million international passengers.

The flag carrier expects an 8% of capacity increase in Europe on a yearly basis in 2019. Turkish Airlines, based in 1933, flies to 306 destinations in 124 countries with its fleet of quite 330 craft, as well as traveller and cargo planes.
